Uptick Opinion | Most NFT platforms are still in the Web 2.5 stage

Brian, founder of the commercial NFT infrastructure platform ‘Uptick’, had this to say on the topic of the current state of NFT platforms in the space:
“Essentially, the core of internet products is operations. The essence of operation is to effectively connect products and users, and to maximize value through various levels of operation. In the Web3.0 era, how to ensure the fairness of operations is a big problem, because what needs to be established is a decentralized operation model, which improves the operation logic at the code level and avoids the intervention of too many factors. Therefore, the underlying decentralized asset management and transactions are far from enough. The underlying decentralized technology is just a foundation. What really needs to be developed is a decentralized operation mechanism and a decentralized business model. ”
Brian believes that most of the NFT platforms in the world are still in what he calls the Web 2.5 stage, or even the 2.0 stage, because only the underlying decentralized technology is used, and the operation team is completely centralized.
