Uptick Network Launches ‘Uptick Origin’ Testnet to Support GoN Phase 2 Hackathon

To provide comprehensive support for the Uptick Track hackathon, the Uptick Infrastructure Team has established a new test chain called “Uptick Origin” and extended invitations to developers to participate in the hackathon on this Origin Testnet.

The Origin Testnet offers several advantages for participants:

1. Bug Fixes from GoN Phase 1: All known bugs from the previous GoN phase have been addressed and resolved on the Origin Testnet.
2. Cosmos SDK NFT and ERC721 Conversion: The Origin Testnet now includes a mutual conversion function between Cosmos SDK NFTs and ERC721 tokens, facilitating seamless interoperability between the two.
3. Expedited Voting Time: To ensure prompt issue resolution during the hackathon, the voting time has been shortened to one day (24 hours) on the Origin Testnet.
4. Testnet Naming Clarity: To avoid any confusion between the testnet and mainnet token names, the testnet has been renamed to UOC (Uptick Origin Chain).
