Polygon and Ethereum Wallet Support
How to set up your Polygon and Ethereum wallet?
We use the same set of mnemonic words to generate a multi-chain wallet mode. This is convenient for users in order to manage their wallets with a unified set of mnemonic words. This mode also allows us to add support for more blockchains in the future.
Already using the Uptick app?
After updating and entering the app, or re-importing your original IRIS wallet, you will automatically get a Polygon and Ethereum wallet.
First time using the Uptick app?
When you create the wallet during registration, all four of the wallets will be created for you at the same time.
- At present, the mnemonic words generated in the Uptick app are exactly 24 characters. Please store them in a safe and secure location.
- If you already have a Polygon or Ethereum wallet, you can also directly import into Uptick, and it will automatically generate the wallet for you.
How to start using your Polygon and Ethereum wallet?
On the basis of the new version of the wallet interface, we have added 2 new chains. You can switch between chains in the left-side tab. You can interact with the Polygon and Ethereum wallet the same way as the IRIS wallet: Click: ‘Send & Receive’ to perform all of the usual functions.
Choose the ‘Receive code’ for the chain you want to interact with on the left-side tab, and simply copy the wallet address of the corresponding chain.
Added Cross-Chain Support for IRISnet-Polygon and IRISnet-Ethereum
We have enriched the NFT cross-chain transfer function, giving our users the ability to freely transfer their NFT assets created in Uptick on the IRISnet, to the Polygon and Ethereum network. This is an important step in order to link the IRISnet to these two ecosystems, enabling the further expansion of Uptick Network’s multi-chain ecosystem.
How to transfer your NFTs to a different chain?
For NFT creators: When the NFTs you’ve created are not in their ‘On Sale’ status, you will be able to perform cross-chain transfer functions.
- Select the current chain of the NFT at the top left of the [My Creations] list page.
- Click ‘Cross-chain transfer’ under a particular event or collectible card to enter the cross-chain transfer page.
- Browse the NFT info you need to transfer across-chain, choose the target chain and enter your wallet password to initiate the cross-chain transfer operation.
- Switch to the target chain to check the status of the transfer.
For NFT buyers: When the NFTs you’ve purchased are not in their ‘On Sale’ status, you will be able to perform cross-chain transfer functions.
- Select the current chain of the NFT at the top left of the [Collectibles] page.
- Click ‘Cross-chain transfer’ at the bottom of the NFT details page to enter the cross-chain transfer page.
- Browse the NFT info you need to transfer across-chain, choose the target chain and enter your wallet password to initiate the cross-chain transfer operation.
4. Switch to the target chain to check the status of the transfer.
Please note:
- Cross-chain transfers take a certain amount of time, please be patient.
- NFT batch transfers are currently under development. At the moment, only single transfers of NFT assets are supported, so please stay tuned for this update.
How to check transfer status and view cross-chain records?
When you submit a cross-chain transfer operation, it will automatically switch to the cross-chain record page for you. You can view the status and results of each cross-chain transfer. You can also enter to view the history of the cross-chain transfer by navigating to [Me]-[Cross-chain record].
Added NFT Support for Polygon and Ethereum
In this update, we have also added NFT support for Polygon and Ethereum. After transferring your NFTs to Polygon or Ethereum, you will also be able to sell, transfer, and manage your NFT assets on these networks.
How to sell Polygon and Ethereum NFTs?
Select ‘Polygon or Ethereum’ at the top left of the [My Creation] page to check the NFT assets you have created. Click on the second logo from the right to start selling your NFTs in the primary market.
In order to facilitate the usage of different pricing strategies for users based on different chains, NFTs transferred to Polygon and Ethereum will have the opportunity to set a new price. When you do set your NFT price, please be careful as this cannot be changed.
How to browse & purchase Polygon and Ethereum NFTs?
When you browse NFT assets in the market, you can use the indicator located at the right of the price to determine which chain the NFT asset is based on. You can also switch to Polygon or Ethereum at the top right of the page and quickly filter the NFT assets according to the chain.
When you select Polygon and Ethereum NFTs, the overall purchase process is the same as IRIS, the only difference is you pay with MATIC or ETH.
How to transfer Polygon and Ethereum NFTs?
The Polygon and Ethereum NFTs you hold can also be freely transferred and resold on the market, and the process is just as convenient as when you transfer IRIS NFTs:
Transfer: Fill in the recipient’s address, enter your password and submit.
Resell: Fill in the resale price, enter your password and submit.
