A guide to the Uptick App
How to create Account and backup wallet?
Uptick is open to the global community, you can create the account by entering your username, password and invitation code(optional). Please make sure your username is unique.
After login, you check and manage your IRIS wallet on the [My]-[Wallet] page.
Note: Please keep your mnemonic properly, once you lose it, Uptick will not be able to retrieve it for you.
How to improve personal profile and complete verfication?
You can improve personal profile in [me]-[Profile], the personal profile including: profile photo/username/name/phone/email:
● Profile photo: your image in Uptick,it is displayed on your personal homepage, and may also appear in the recommendation, rankings, etc.
● Username: the unique username in Uptick, it’s required and can be changed
● Name: real name for events(optional)
● Phone: set your valid phone number.
● E-mail: set your valid email address.
Please verify your phone or email, you can create and resell NFT assets after verification.
● Phone verfication: you can fill in the phone number of various countries or regions worldwide, but now only support the verification of phone numbers in mainland China (+86).
● Email verfication: the verfication email may be blocked by your mailbox, please check your email spam box.
Note: Once your phone or/and email is verfied, it cannot be changed.
How to create and start selling your NFTs?
At this stage, Uptick provides two creation templates for users. Please click [My]-[Create] to start the creation process. Fill in both the basic information and release information.
For successfully created NFT assets, you can click the “↑” button to start selling your NFT assets in primary market. And of course, you can withdraw your NFT assets at any time by clicking the “↓” button.
Note: The creation and start selling NFT usually requires 5–10s, please check the results later.
How to manage the NTFs created by you?
Uptick provides sales statistics so that asset creators can check the sales of NFTs in [Me]-[My Creations].
How to verify the NFTs created by you?
Click [To Verify] to scan the NFT asset QR code to display different content:
● Collectibles: verify the authenticity and whether it is issued for you.
● Personal events: check the event tickets and change the NFT status to “Used”. It could meet the needs of offline events and ticket inspection.
How to purchase the NFTs?
[Market] displays the first-hand NFT assets created by the original creators, while [Resale] displays the second-hand NFT assets resold by the other holders.
Since Uptick currently covers two major usage scenarios — Collectibles and Events, you can switch to each to scenarios freely by clicking the tab in the market and resale page. And you can browse and purchase the products as you need.
● Collectibles: You can preview the card style and the basic information.
● Personal Events: You can preview the basic information of the activity, product evaluation and notes.
Once you have decided on what you are going to buy, submit the order and complete the payment.
Note: Since on-chain operation takes 5–10s, please check the order status in the order list later.
How to check the NFTs you bought?
After the purchase succeeded, you can check the collectibles you purchased or the activities you participated in in the [Collections].
How to transfer the NFTs？
You can freely transfer the NFT assets you bouhgt to relatives and friends. Select the NFT assets in the [Collections] page, and click the [Transfer] button at the head of the NFT details page. Fill in the receiver’s wallet address, enter the wallet password to complete the transfer. The receiver can check in his or her collection page.
To meet the needs of directly transfer of the personal events and collectible cards, When the NFT assets you created is not onsale in market, you can directly transfer to the designated address. Press the transfer button.
Note: The seller’s direct transfer is only operable when the NFT is not selling.
How to resale the NFTs?
You can also resell your NFTs to secondary markets. Select the NFT assets in the [Collections] page, and click the [Resale] button at the head of the NFT details page. Fill in the resale price and enter the wallet password to list the asset on secondary market.
You can click the “Withdraw” button in the NFT details page at any time to withdraw the NFT assets from the secondary market.
How to check on-chain information?
You can find brief blockchain related information in Uptick, and can check the transaction details in IRISnet mainnet browser.
● Order details: display the basic information of the order, and you can view its transaction details in the browser
● NFT asset details: display the NFT ID, and in the browser you can view the every transaction record of this NFT asset after being minted.
● Wallet transaction records: display both the transfer of IRIS token and NFT assets, briefly showing the transaction direction, transaction object, block number and timestamp. And more information in browser too.
How to complain about NFTs?
You can find the complaint entry on the upper right of the details page. We will review the description and supporting materials submitted by the users, and deal with the relevant NFT assets after investigation and verification.
How to appeal the blocked NFTs?
When the NFT assets you create are restricted, you can find the restricted NFT assets in [Me]-[Create], and click the [Appeal] button to enter the appeal process.
How to add and check your favourites?
You can add favourites in the bottom of product details page, and check your favourite in [me]-[My favourites]
How to subscribe and unsubscribe?
You can subscribe and unsubscribe the creators in creators’ personal page.
How to leave event comments?
You can leave a comment after you bought an event, and the entry in the bottom of your tickets page. You need to light on the stars and submit your thoughs and images of the certain event.
How to share the Uptick to social media？
There is a sharing button on the upper right of the product details and coupon details page. After clicking, select the channel to share. You can also copy the link directly and share to any social media.
How to invite friends?
You can share the download QRcode and your personal invitation code in [me]-[Invite].
How to earn Uptick points?
Users can earn points by staying active, sharing the app, inviting friends, and trading & creating NFT assets. Uptick points reflect the activity and loyalty of users. Click here to learn more
